NO SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE OFFERED FOR LONDON DIAGNOSTIC DERMATOPATHOLOGY COURSES 2025 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

 AIM:

London Diagnostic Dermatopathology Courses is interested in promoting training, professional and educational development in the field of Dermatopathology. On an annual basis LDDC offers two scholarships to two different countries and /or medical societies. We endeavour to provide training and education for candidates from a country in development and/or a country that shows exceptional endeavour to collaborate, cooperate and develop the field of Dermatopathology both nationally and internationally. In terms of the medical societies we endeavour to reward a society which shows exceptional collaboration, cooperation and promotion of training in the field of Dermatopathology. The scholarship awards are for a one week diagnostic dermatopathology residential course in London, UK.

 CRITERIA FOR AWARD: 

The candidate must have a high proficiency in the English language

The candidate must be a senior trainee in either Dermatology or Pathology with an interest in Dermatopathology.

The candidate should be in a position to either train and or further training in Dermatopathology in their home country .

The candidate must agree to share his newly acquired or refined knowledge with his peers, and /or his departmental colleagues.

The candidate must submit an essay written in English answering the question “Why do you believe you deserve this award and how are you going to share your new knowledge?” 

AWARD: 

LDDC will pay for the course fees and candidate’s accommodation at the Lensbury centre during the duration of the course,  TBA , 2020.

Course fees include the course , coffee, tea breaks and lunch

CANDIDATE SELECTION:

Please be aware that if you need a visa to come to the UK we cannot intervene on your behalf.

A reference letter from the candidate’s Dermatology or Pathology Director of Studies stating the candidates current performance and how the candidates knowledge will be used either to advance training in Dermatopathology in the place of work or training.

An essay written in English answering the question “Why do you believe you deserve this award and how are you going to share your new knowledge?”
